The Big Cats Mini Blanket was designed by James Daw, a London-based artist and illustrator who spent years as an abstract painter before moving into illustration. He works in collage and mixed media, building up textures, scribbles, and shapes by hand before scanning and reworking them digitally. That background shows in his work: there's a looseness and physicality to it that you don't get from purely digital illustration. The Big Cats carry that same energy being bold and graphic, but with something a bit raw underneath.
